How was your Mauritius experience, had you been to the island before?
Mauritius was a beautiful experience filled with rich culture. I’ve been to Mauritius once before, but with my family when I was younger. Doing a Mauritius trip with a talented, creative friend is a different experience altogether. I feel that we saw the whole island during our stay, we’d drive 2 hours or more just to find the perfect locations or hike through fields to stand under waterfalls, the journey was definitely worth the destination. I’d visit Mauritius again in a heartbeat.

What was your highlight of shooting here?
The highlight of the whole trip was definitely the environment that Mauritius has to offer. Lush green plants wherever you looked, warm water that's so clear you could see the bottom of the ocean, and although it takes some getting used to, the temperate humid weather. Perfect Bikini weather! Perfect island girl aesthetic.

What are your favourite pieces from the High Summer ‘23 drop?
It’s so hard to pick a favourite piece when every piece was so beautifully created. But I must say my favourite thing about the new styles is the design and repetition of the gold hardware.
